Still - Life
by Mac Tumbagahan
For the past months we have been doing some random series of photoshoot and more or less we are like kids waiting to receive and open dozen of gifts on their birthday. I manage to find a few people who are more or less like gods when it comes to cosplay photography.

I'm Dreaming of Laputa
by Stein Vivero
Laputa: Castles in the Sky
A 1986 film made by one of Japan's prominent filmmaker, Hayao Miyazaki.
I would like to give credit to Keni, one of my colleagues who actually referred this movie.
I am not "that" Miyazaki fan, though I've watched few of his work such
as Ponyo and Spirited Away. His movies are epic!
So far, Laputa is my favorite among Miyazaki's work that I've watched.
This movie is beyond imagination that will surely remind you back of your childhood.
Gee, gtg.. I'll be watching Isao Takahata's Grave of the Fireflies.
Spread the love ♥
Ja ne!

Cosplayer in Sinulog sa Kabankalan
by Von Fritz Evangelista
I went to Sinulog in Kabankalan last week. I was desperate to bring cosplay in there. However, I failed to invite some pips.
My resolve: face painting myself ala Kiba Inuzuka.
Venturing the festival grounds however, I encountered Akatsuki people putting charcoal on people's faces. What fun!
This might be one of those robes used by the Akatsuki Cosplayers way back Electric Masskara 2008. Haha.

WTF is 'buluthuan'?
Candidly taken, this photo was published in a local daily in Talisay.
Good.
The bad thing was, the word 'buluthuan' mentioned in the caption created such a a fuzz.
To the dismay of Hitsuzen Inc.
Okies...'buluthuan' means 'school'. Nosebleed.

The First Ever Cosplay Museum
Cosplay.ph and Diliman Prepatory School proudly presents the official unveiling of the first ever Cosplay Museum in the Philippines on January 8, 2010! The museum will feature historical cosplay costumes, a cosplay historical gallery and an extensive gallery from premier cosplay photographers. There will also be an area for Cosplay Workshops that will serve to instruct beginners as well as tackle more advanced cosplay topics.
A joint project of Cosplay.ph and Diliman Prepatory School, the Cosplay Museum is meant as an educational beacon to enlighten the general public about Cosplay, its roots and historical landmarks in the Philippines and to educate the youth on the various aspects of Cosplay. The museum is also a venue for allowing Cosplayers to congregate and have their own small activities with the frequency that is impossible in most large-scale conventions.
Along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, the museum is located next to Diliman Prepatory School. It is, however, independent of the complex allowing it to operate during times when the school is closed. For those planning a visit, please refer to this map by clicking the link here: Map to Cosplay Museum. The actual museum is located in the white building right next to Diliman Prepatory School.
Cosplay.ph and Diliman Prepatory School would like to thank everyone who donated their costumes, time and effort in the fruition of this landmark museum. It's launching is testament to the growing positive influence of Cosplay, not merely as a hobby, but as an art form and educational media.

So when are we going to have our official tee?
The 'Lost' Living Anime Project
Come Electric Masskara Cosplay 2009, Hitsuzen Inc Cosplayers were kinda honored to have Mr. George Pontino, former local daily editor, taking pictures.
Mr. Pontino, now based in Saudi Arabia, promised to support the spread of cosplay virus in the province.
And he made this project called...
But until now, the project is not yet done.
And everyone of us is waiting for like eternity.

Hitsuzen Inc - Bacolod's 'We Heart Cosplay' Tribute
CORE SPOTLIGHT: Steven 'Ban' Vivero
I'm a self-diagnosed psychotic and lactose intolerant.
An anime fanatic, self-proclaimed otaku and an amateur cosplayer.
Whenever I taste dairy products, it results to bad digestion and uncontrolled urges, such a lame fact. I'm creative in my own way. I never wanted to be compared to anyone because I know the fact that we are unique.
I strive for world peace and for greener earth and that is for real. No one has ever labeled me "hypocrite" for two reasons, either they fear or I'm just plain honest. I love having friends and they are the coolest! I have much but I still feel less. I am an artist, a frustrated one.
I prefer to be alone so I can be productive in my own way. Talkative but loving.
