Vocaloid 2: Megurine Luka 05

The first bilingual vocaloid to be released, Megurine Luka has an extensive Japanese dictionary on par with previous Japanese Vocaloids. However, her English is more limited than English Vocaloids. Despite her songs needing more attention when creating English lyrics, she has superior capabilities of the English language with only occasional Japanese accents.
So pretty! And what lovely shoes. I normally hate gold shoes, but her boots are probably the only exception.

Loveless: Aoyagi Ritsuka 04

Despite being a pacifist that he naturally is, love is an uncomfortable subject for Ritsuka. He is often wary of compliments and doesn’t like affection in any form. Ritsuka is conflicted with believing Agatsuma Soubi’s declarations of love and thus becomes a source of tension in their relationship.
Beautiful cosplay! I think this is from one of Koga Yun’s illustrations for Loveless’ art book. I’m not sure if it actually appeared in the series though.

Saiunkoku Monogatari: Shi Ryuki 02

As a child, Ryuki was treated badly by his mother and most of his half-brothers. They would beat him up or lock him in a storage house for days in a row. Seien, the second eldest brother of the six sons, was the only family member who ever showed kindness to him. Ryuki met Shuurei’s father, Ko Shouka, in the imperial archives, who secretly tutored him and encouraged War General Sou-Taifu to teach him swordsmanship.
Awesome cosplay! Such a perfect location and beautifully detailed clothing, very fitting for the emperor of Saiunkoku!

Michiko to Hatchin: Michiko Malandro

A wild, independent woman, Michiko Malandro is a fugitive who escaped one of the most heavily guarded prisons in existence… for at least four times. She rescued Hana “Hatchin” Morenos from her abusive foster parents because she claimed she knew Hatchin’s father who is a kind man that "made her fall in love with him right away". They embark on a journey to find Hatchin’s father and began to realize that despite their differences, they truly need one another.
Nice cosplay by Kai! Good photography angle and self-made rifle too!

Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata: Maya

When she was only 10-years-old, Maya witnessed her entire family murdered by the Yason. This caused her to become aphasiac, an acquired language disorder which makes it difficult for her to produce or comprehend spoken or written language. She has healing powers which she uses to battle against the Yason.
Beautiful cosplay and photography! The details of~seika’s cosplay is absolutely stunning!

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Dino Chiavarone

The 22-year-old, tenth generation boss of the Chiavarone Family, Dino is a fighter and a leader with exceptional skills. His main weapons, created by Reborn’s chameleon Leon, are a whip and Enzo, a turtle which grows in size and rampages when soaked in water. Like Sawada Tsunayoshi, Dino did not want anything to do with the Mafia, but became a suitable Mafia boss after Reborn became his home tutor.
Impressive cosplay by Ross Monster of Live Journal! I really love the tattoos she made for this cosplay.

Nier: Kainé

Originally from The Aerie, Kainé is a shy and collected individual who is thought to be cruel and cold due to her upbringing. She is only half human, with the left side of her body is possessed by a Shade known as Tyrann. As a result, she has lived most of her life as an outcast, unwelcomed in villages and befriended by few.
Beautiful cosplay! And as William, the contributor puts it, “a daring character to cosplay, since… she's actually a hermaphrodite”.

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt: Stocking

Stocking is said to be more intelligent and responsible than her older sister, Panty. She has a gluttonous appetite for sweets and does not eat spicy food. She is often seen carrying a plush cat named Honekoneko whose expressions match Stocking’s mood. Her stockings transform into a pair of swords known as Stripes I & II.
Beautiful cosplay and quite an interesting series. I think how she managed to create that wig is probably the best part about this cosplay.

Welcome to Pia Carrot -Sayaka no Koi-monogatari-: Takai Sayaka

Takai Sayaka and Kannazuki Akihiko worked in a restaurant chain known as Pia Carrot. They are both interested in one another but before either of them could make a move, Sayaka was temporarily assigned to work in the newly established branch at a beach resort. Despite being far apart, Sayaka’s feeling remain true for Akihiko, but does he feel the same way about her?
Beautiful cosplay by Iori! I love all the details in her cosplay, and she has really nice hair!

Ore no Imoto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai: Kosaka Kirino

A 14-year-old girl with an older brother complex, Kirino is quite mature for her age and has a modeling job to pay for her otaku hobbies. She loves her older brother, Kyosuke and often feels frustrated when he is with, or shows interests, in other girls. She thus forces Kyosuke to spend time with her, but generally denies the fact that she enjoys his company.
Such a cute cosplay by Kanda Midori! She looks so dreamy in this photo.

Vampire Knight: Kurenai Maria 02

A distant relative of Hio Shizuka, Maria is a sickly vampire who allowed Shizuka to possess her body in exchange for her blood. As Shizuka is a pure blooded vampire, her blood has many healing properties that would ultimately strengthen Maria. Unfortunately, Shizuka died in the hands of Kuran Kaname before Maria could ever obtain Shizuka’s blood, but Maria confessed that she would have allowed Shizuka to use her even if she received nothing in return.
So pretty! And so much like Maria when she was possessed by Shizuka! I really love how she did her hair for this cosplay.

Durarara!!: Orihara Mairu and Orihara Kururi

Twin sisters of Orihara Izaya, Mairu and Kururi are complete opposites of one another. Mairu, the younger twin, is an outgoing, trouble-maker like her brother, while Kururi is shy and soft spoken. Kururi is often bullied because of her sister’s reputation, but both sisters have their ways in responding to threats effectively. The twins are fans of Izaya’s friend, Heiwajima Kasuka.
So cute! And could they be twins or sisters in real life, I wonder?
